Learn how to make a beautiful bicolor origami butterfly with this easy tutorial. Use 2 colors paper to get different colors on the wings of your butterfly.
This origami butterfly is a new model that I designed. It is very simple and easy to fold, even for origami beginners, and kids will love it!
With its wings of different colors, this butterfly model looks very different from other origami butterflies (the traditional origami butterfly, the famous butterfly from Akira Yoshizawa, and the very beautiful butterflies designed by Michael LaFosse). There are many possible variations and color changes for the wings and the body, and you can choose to make the wings round or angular, the body narrower or more rounded etc. By varying the proportions you can make many different butterflies. I posted pictures of several variations on my Flickr account and I will publish video tutorials for them soon, so be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel.
